DAYTON — Two events are taking place this weekend to honor veterans and raise funds for the Dayton National Cemetery, according to a news release.

The seventh annual motorcycle ride will take place starting at the Xenia Harley Davidson tomorrow morning at the 1200 block of Cincinnati Avenue.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 11:30 a.m. for the 100 mile ride, the release said.

The ride costs $20 and additional rider is $5.

The rest stop for riders will be located at the Dayton VA Campus with refreshments provided.

The second event tomorrow is the Patriot Salute Festival & Car Show, according to the release.

It takes place on the grounds of the Dayton VA at 4100 West Third Street from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The event is hosted by the American Veterans Heritage Center, the release said.

The festival will feature live music, cornhole tournament, food, crafts, merchandise, and the car show.

Car judging begins at 12:00 pm.
