Veterans Day is Saturday, and there are many events around town to honor and remember military veterans and their service.
Veterans Day on Marco Island at Veteran’s Memorial Park (1895 Veterans Park Dr), sponsored by the City of Marco Island. Starts at 11.
The Annual USO Show at the Naples Depot Museum (1051 5th Ave S) will be starting at noon.
The Wounded Warriors will also be doing a fundraiser at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club (896 River Point Dr).
Louisville Slugger Warriors, a softball team made up of combat-wounded veterans, will be playing an exhibition at North Collier Regional Park at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Elks Lodge of Bonita Springs and Estero(3231 Coconut Rd, Bonita Springs) will be holding a memorial breakfast at 8 a.m. which will include music and videos honoring veterans.
Veterans Day parade goes Eastbound from 8th Court to 15th Avenue on SE 47th Terrace in downtown Cape Coral. Goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Purple Heart Memorial in Cape Coral (Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve). New monument will be unveiled at 4 p.m.
Six Bends Harley-Davidson will be hosting their Salute To The Brave Hero from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Along with their annual Veterans Day Ride that morning from 9am to 1030am.
The Fort Myers Veterans Day Parade starts at the Edison-Ford Estates at 2 p.m., it will end at Edwards Drive around 5 p.m.
