Two area residents were seriously hurt and another one sustained minor injuries Thursday evening (Aug. 10) in a traffic accident involving two motorcycles and a car on Byrnesville Road west of John McKeever Road in House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 6:27 p.m., April R. Fuller, 30, of Pacific, in a 2009 Hyundai Genesis, was pulling onto eastbound Byrnesville Road from a private drive, and a 2008 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Glide headed west on Byrnesville Road struck the left side of the car, the report said.
In the meantime, a man riding another westbound motorcycle, a 2016 Harley-Davidson, swerved to avoid the collision and overturned onto its side, according to the report.
James N. Bradley, 36, of Union was riding the 2008 Harley, and John W. Ferguson, 39, of Labadie was riding the 2016 Harley. Bradley and a passenger on the 2008 Harley – M. Tobie Deslo, 43, of Pacific – were seriously hurt, the report said.
Bradley was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where he was listed in serious condition, a hospital spokeswoman said this afternoon (Aug. 11).
Deslo was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the report said. However, the hospital spokeswoman said Mercy had no information about her.
Fuller sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said this afternoon.
No injuries were reported for Ferguson.
Bradley, Deslo and Ferguson were wearing helmets, and Fuller was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
