Two charged in theft of Harley, which has not yet been recovered

Two people from Carbondale were charged in the July 25 theft of a motorcycle from a parking lot on Route 507 in Greene Township.

Brie Ann Kline, 29, and Michael Brenton Kellogg, 30, were taken into custody by the Pennsylvania State Police at Blooming Grove after felony warrants were obtained for their arrest. The motorcycle is a silver 2003 Harley Davidson V-Rod, bearing the registration W8745. Its owner is a 63-year-old man Canadensis man.

In an investigation conducted on July 25, the police determined that Kellogg exited a white Jeep Patriot driven by Kline. Kellogg approached the motorcycle several times before getting on the bike and fleeing the area, taking with him the victim’s leather jacket and black helmet, according to the police report. Kline then fled the area in her vehicle, the police said.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled.

The motorcycle has not yet been recovered. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Trooper Patrick Quinn at 570-226-5718.
