Two area men hurt in separate motorcycle crashes

Robert Alan Brown, 41, of West Fargo, was driving a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on 75 when a saddle bag became dislodged.

Brown tried to correct and while doing so drove onto the shoulder, lost control and overturned the motorcycle.

He was taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Patrol said Brown was not wearing a helmet.

On Saturday, June 9, around 3:45 p.m., another rider crashed on Highway 113 near Dr. Wallace Road east of Waubun.

Luis Brito, 57, of Grand Forks, was riding a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control on a curve and went into the ditch.

The driver was transported to a Detroit Lakes hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Patrol said Brito was not wearing a helmet.
