Troopers investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Clermont County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a Loveland man in Miami Township early Sunday morning.

Preliminary investigation shows Roy B. Jeffers, 45, was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle southwest on Weber Road near Tanglewood Drive when he lost control of the vehicle about 1:45 a.m., troopers said.

The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole and guy wires. Jeffers was thrown from the motorcycle, troopers said.

Troopers said Jeffers was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clermont County coroner.

No other vehicles were involved.
