MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Fundraising events are a way for the community to come together and support a great cause, and Saturday residents in Morgantown came out to support the Children’s Miracle Network.
The 304 Jeep Club teamed up with the Triple S Harley Davidson store to put on the first Jeep Fest fundraiser.
This event was free to the public and was held at the Morgantown Triple S Harley Davidson store with several local vendors and businesses in attendance.
Vice president of the 304 Jeep Club, Michael Kingston, said this fundraiser included a jeep show and other family fun activities for locals to enjoy.
“Anyone that registered their jeep in the jeep show is $10 bucks and then there’s all kinds of raffles and 50/50s and prizes to be won by anyone who wants to come up and enjoy the event,” said Kingston.
All funds raised from Saturday’s event will go toward helping the children at the Children’s Miracle Network.
Organizers say because of the large turnout they plan to make giving back an annual event throughout the community.
