Rehabbed sea turtles released into Gulf of Mexico
The subadult loggerhead was one of six sea turtles released into the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday morning, June 24, 2021, by the Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center.

WEVERTON — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash Wednesday in Southern Washington County, according to Maryland State Police.
Scott Spitnale, 56, address unavailable, was listed in critical condition Thursday in the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, authorities said.
The 4:22 p.m. crash occurred at Garretts Mill and Rohrersville roads, police said.
Spitnale was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Rohrersville Road, which is also known as Md. 67, when a Honda Accord pulled in front of him from Garretts Mill Road, police said.
After the two vehicles collided, one of them struck a Ford Transit van, police said.
Spitnale was airlifted to the hospital, according to police.
Rohrersville Road was closed for about an hour while investigators reconstructed the crash scene, police said.
No further details were immediately available Thursday.
