GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)– Grand Junction Harley Davidson kicked off the first official biker rally in the Grand Valley with a weekend full of rides and music.
Bikers from all over the Grand Valley gathered at Harley Davidson in Grand Junction Saturday for motorcycle rides and festivities. The event is an opportunity for the people in the community to support motorcycles and see the Colorado scenery. This is the first biker rally the city of Grand Junction has put on.
“A lot of people have been wanting to put together a biker rally in this town. We have tons of good places to ride and nobody’s done it until this year. So it’s kinda come all together with a number of people that decided to put it all together,” said Paul Watters, the Director of the Western Slope Hogs.
Paul Watters hopes that next year The Grand Valley Biker Rally will add more festivities and days to the event. The Grand Valley Biker Rally ends Saturday evening with The Wallflowers concert at 7 p.m. at the Las Colonias Park Amphitheatre.
