MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Steelworkers have rejected a contract with Harley-Davidson.
The United Steelworkers rejected the deal which was set to expire at midnight. A union representing machinists were able to come to a five-year agreement.
For now, the steelworkers union will continue to work under the old contract until April 14.
Harley says they look forward to further negotiations.
