Smoked: 2014 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider versus 2015 Ducati Diavel

Harley-Davidson is one of the few motorcycle brands that can directly trace its lineage all the way back to the very first American-built machines. The performance of Harley-Davidson motorcycles is legendary but how does it compare to the new 2015 Ducati Diavel? Let’s find out!

Part two of a three-part drag racing series. In this episode the 2015 Ducati Diavel takes on the high-performance Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider in a 1/4-mile drag race. Let’s see who wins in this intense USA vs Italy two-wheeled shootout, and who gets Smoked.

Well, I was looking for a Dyna quarter mile and that's what I got. However, you had those nifty pop-up bubbles showing speeds at the start, then only finished with quarter mile times at the end. Why not show the speed at finish, temp, altitude and other factors that would affect quarter mile times at the end?

DobermansRock: I guess, since you have never seen the dark side of the moon, then, it must not exist either…….get your head out of the sand, and look around you……plenty of burned Twin Cam owners, have posted their own YOU TUBE videos on the inadequacy and weakness of the Twin Cam engine…….apparently you know nothing about what is inside each Twin Cam engine, otherwise, you would have something worthwhile to contribute, like rebutting, point by point, why the Twin Cam engine is so great, in it's design…….what's a matter, pal…..can't think about anything positive to defend the weak Twin Cam engine……that figures, all mouth, no facts……..

Theirs no way an air-cooled harley engine is going to produce anyway near the HP of the Duck's liquid cooled V twin, maybe try a Harley V rod.

Yeah…….. you can thank Harley for their BORING , pressed together, featherweight flywheels. They used to make very good flywheels, which had a crank pin nut and bolt arrangement to keep their flywheels in true…….but, when they started making the Twin Cam engines, instead of the single cam, Panheads, Shovelheads, and Evos, they went cheap…….and thus, the boring flywheels…………I will take an EVO over a Twin Cam bike,  any day of the week……..and NO CHEAP PLASTIC cam chain tensioners, in the single cam Harleys of yesteryear, either, all METAL GEAR to operate the cam.
