Robbie Knievel will perform his next stunt Nov. 11 in Palm Bay, Fla., in which he’ll jump over a line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles at a length of about 30 cars.
Knievel, 55, said the Palm Bay event will be the longest jump he’s completed. It’s in collaboration with Space Coast Harley-Davidson and Demons Behind Me Co.
The event will help raise money for Operation 300, adventure camp for children who have lost a parent serving in the military, and K9s For Warriors, a non-profit that provides canines to service members living with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries or are the survivors of military sexual trauma post 9-11.
Knievel said he’s had two major back surgeries since 2015 and doctors have cautioned against the jump, especially because he has to use his legs during the stunt. However, he said any jump comes with risks.
