10 Honorary mention: The Harley Davidson LiveWire

Though it’s not a car, we felt that the Harley Davidson LiveWire deserved a special mention because it was one of the coolest rides we’ve seen in the Avengers Series. Scarlett Johansson’s character, Black Widow, is seen riding the bike in Avengers: Age of Ultron, as she delivers the Captain’s shield to help him in a desperate battle.

When the movie was released in 2015, the LiveWire, Harley-Davidson’s first electric motorcycle, was a concept bike. However, the exciting news is that it will be hitting the market in 2020!

9 Audi TT-S

It’s Audi domination in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In addition to the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the R8 Coupe, Audi TT-S also makes a small appearance as a redesigned coupe. Though, if you weren’t paying attention or took a quick glance at your phone, you may have missed it!

The car features Audi’s signature Singleframe® grille, sport-inspired bumpers, and builds on the original design we are familiar with. Performance-wise, it houses a TFSI® four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 228 horsepower.

8 Acura RDX

Since Acura had a partnership with Marvel for The Avengers, you would have been able to spot a bunch of the latest Acura cars, including the MDX, ZDX, and TL, being driven around. The Acura RDX was supposed to make an appearance in the film as well, but the scene was deleted from the final cut.

However, the exclusive deleted scene was released later and it featured the Acura RDX in all its glory in a high-tech, glass display. In addition to featuring the car, the scene also showed Steve Rogers trying to adjust to the ‘new’ normal and acquaint himself with all the modern technology around him.

7 Hummer H3T

Even though the Hummer H3T is no longer manufactured by General Motors, it does deserve a mention. The vehicle was used by Loki to escape the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility with the stolen Tesseract (which contained the Space Stone) in the 2012 movie The Avengers

The modified Hummer H3T can currently be seen at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum. It has been placed in the museum’s first-floor lobby, along with life-sized figures of your favorite Avengers.

6 Infiniti QX50

Having an ‘Infiniti’ car in the Avengers: Infinity War movie was a smart marketing tactic from Nissan. In the post-credits scene, you see Nick Fury driving a 2019 Infiniti QX50. This scene is probably one of the most important post-credit scenes, because it shows Nick Fury paging Captain Marvel just before disappearing into nothingness.

The mid-size luxury crossover promises both sports car performance and eco-friendly efficiency. It features a 268-hp 2.0-liter VC-Turbo Engine that is capable of physically transforming for any compression ratio from 8:1 to 14:1.

5 Audi A3 Cabriolet

You were probably on the edge of your seat when Hawkeye entered the frame driving an Audi A3 cabriolet. The blue convertible makes an appearance during critical moments of the film and is a part of some brilliantly-shot action scenes. We think that the acoustic power-folding roof of the A3 Cabriolet definitely helped in filming the action sequences.

The new Audi A3 Cabriolet is a good mix of style and performance. It boasts a formidable engine outputting 184 horsepower and the ability to go from 0-60 mph in less than seven seconds.

4 Ford Econoline

The 1972 Ford Econoline from 2015’s Ant-Man returned to make a vital appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Originally, owned by Luis, Scott Lang’s former cellmate, the van has quite a character. It has literally seen everything; ranging from criminal activities to a Quantum Tunnel that is the key to traveling to the Quantum Realm.

The sturdy, versatile van plays an important role in the film, because no Ford Econoline meant no return of Scott Lang. Now that could have changed things dramatically for the world, wouldn’t it? It’s hardly the most impressive or powerful vehicle around, but make no mistake: the Econoline saved the whole of reality!

3 Audi R8 V10 Plus coupe

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Tony Stark, was again behind the wheel of the car that’s become forever associated with Iron Man. Yes, the Audi R8.

He drove the orange and black coupe in multiple scenes. As it is Tony Stark’s car, it is not surprising that the Audi R8 V10 Plus Coupe also featured some pretty cool self-driving capabilities in the movie. The second generation redesigned R8 features revamped exterior design and a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 532 horsepower, enabling it to hit 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

2 Acura NSX

Tony Stark and Bruce Banner are seen driving off in a red Acura convertible in The Avengers. Seeing Tony Stark behind the wheel of an Acura NSX came as a surprise to avid fans who were used to him driving an Audi R8. Well, this happened because Acura was the official car sponsor of the film.

We are definitely not complaining: the Acura NSX looked spectacular. Interestingly, the car shown in the movie wasn’t a real production model, because it was officially going to be launched much later. The concept car was actually an older NSX that was fitted with new panels and modified mechanically.

1 Audi e-tron GT

Audis have been the vehicles of choice for Tony Stark throughout most of the MCU, so it made sense that his last on-screen ride was an Audi too. In Avengers: Endgame, he arrived in Audi e-tron GT, a sleek electric car, at the Avengers HQ, as he rejoined the team in their efforts to undo what Thanos had done.

The engine sound dubbed in the movie was a bit distracting, though, because electric cars are usually silent. The directors probably wanted a dramatic sound to go with the dramatic turn of events in the movie. Here in the real world, though, E-tron is an exciting development from Audi. They claim that, by 2025, they expect one-third of all new Audi models to be have electric capabilities. Exciting times for the automotive industry, indeed!
