Power Surge once again a big hit at Harley-Davidson

news, local-news,

The rain did little to scare off thunderous bike engines at Richardson’s Harley-Davidson for the annual Power Surge event. Patrons tested the strength of both their vehicles and themselves which included eating and arm wrestling contests. The popular Dyno machine got quite a workout, with bikers pushing their bike’s horsepower to the limits. Richarson’s Harley Davidson events manager Lindelle Banks said the in spite of dampening weather, the day had a good turn out. “This morning was looking good, we had heaps of bikes roll up on the Dyno, the line was out the driveway,” Ms Banks said. “I think our highest one currently is about 260 horsepower which is probably going to be the winner.” TIME TO DECIDE: Do you support a Tasmanian AFL team?
