A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a tractor and a car in a crash on a road in East Yorkshire.
An investigation has been launched by Humberside Police after the biker, who was a man in his 50s, sustained fatal injuries following the collision on the A614 just before 8.30pm on Thursday, May 4.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said: “The collision happened as the rider of the black Harley Davidson motorcycle travelled along the A614 from the direction of Warter towards the Londesborough roundabout.
“The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained fatal injuries when his motorcycle collided with a blue New Holland tractor and a silver coloured Kia Ceed.
“The A614 was closed between Middleton on the Wolds and the roundabout at Londesborough Road to enable emergency services to attend.”
Police are now appealing for information to establish exactly what happened in the collision.
“We would ask any witnesses who have not spoken to police to call us,” a spokesman continued.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw the Harley Davidson motorcycle prior to the incident to get in touch by calling 101.”
Anyone with information should call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 548 of May 3, 2018.
