Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop following a collision with a motorcyclist in Crown Street in Ipswich at the weekend.
The crash happened close to the traffic lights near Crown Pools at around 4.05pm on Saturday, April 7.
Motorcyclist Stuart Dean, 40, said he was riding his Harley Davidson motorbike near the bus station heading towards Norwich Road when he was involved in a collision with a black Honda Civic.
Following the crash, the car failed to stop.
Mr Dean said he came off his bike and collided with the traffic lights, injuring his ankle, shoulder and ribs.
“I have got a medial collateral ligament tear in my right knee, a sprained left ankle and right shoulder and have a bruised wrist and ribs.
“It was pretty horrendous, a full-scale police incident.”
Mr Dean said the car was being driven by a white man who had a female passenger in the car.
He added the driver was wearing a distinctive pair of light blue, fingerless cycling gloves.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact Ipswich Roads Policing at Martlesham Heath Police headquarters quoting CAD number 260 of April 7, 2018.
