MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — More than 100 riders took off from the Harley Davidson Museum on Friday — all of them women.
It was part of the annual Milwaukee rally which celebrates 116 years of Harley’s this year.
The great-grandson of William Davidson explains why women have always been part of the Harley culture.
“A lot of people are curious–who rides Harley Davidson’s, I’ve always referred it to a product that people from all walks of life can enjoy, can enjoy the open road, the freedom it provides, and certainly women have been a part of that group and will continue to be a part of that group,” said Bill Davidson, VP of Harley-Davidson museum.
Davidson said this is about the tenth year for the women’s ride at the Milwaukee Rally.
