OELWEIN — An Oelwein man was arrested after law enforcement found a Harley-Davidson motorcycle they say was stolen from Grundy County.
Jeremiah William Larson, Jr., 40, of 4957 R Avenue, Oelwein, was arrested Thursday afternoon at his home and charged with first-degree theft, third-offense possession of a controlled substance and gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used, all felonies.
Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies searched the property at 2:20 p.m. Thursday after receiving a tip, and found a 2007 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle they believe was stolen from Grundy County.
Deputies also arrested four other individuals at the residence:
- Kristy Leigh Hall, 23, of Oelwein, for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear;
- Darren Garth Peyton, 35, of Calmar, on a warrant for violating parole;
- Sabrina May Reisner, 30, of West Union, for possession of drug paraphernalia; and
- Sean David Reisner, 27, of West Union, for driving while license barred.
All five were taken to the Fayette County Jail. Deputies say other charges are pending.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
