KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) –

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Sunday.

It happened just after 3 p.m. in the area of 40 Highway and Booth.

A silver Pontiac van was headed west when a Harley Davidson hit the front side of it, ejecting the motorcycle driver off.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The driver of the Pontiac and a passenger in the front seat were not injured in the crash.

The driver of the Pontiac remained at the scene.
