The part not mentioned is that someone had removed the stop sign. We have been plagued in this area with people knocking down signs for fun. I had a very close call at that same intersection a couple years ago when someone knocked down that same sign. Good chance the person who knocked the sign down had someone else in the vehicle. They need to come forward so the offender who caused this death can be put behind bars.
