Motorcyclist dies in I-75 crash

NORTH BALTIMORE — A Detroit man died in a crash Saturday night after a tire came off his motorcycle on Interstate 75 in Wood County, the Bowling Green post of the State Highway Patrol reports.

The patrol said Kevin Suber, 60, was southbound on I-75, between Cygnet and North Baltimore, when the left rear tire came off his 2012 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra about 8:51 p.m.

The motorcycle went into the median, where it struck the concrete median wall and overturned, the patrol said.

Suber was taken to Wood County Hospital by Bloomdale EMS, where he was pronounced dead.

Suber was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash, the patrol said.
