Motorcycle Driver Injured in Collision with Mustang


motorcycle accident red 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (9/2/19) — A Central City man was injured when he was thrown from his motorcycle during a collision with a vehicle Friday night.

Central City Police Department spokesman Assistant Chief Jason Lindsey said Officer Justin Dockery responded to the scene shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of South Second Street and East Everly Brothers Boulevard.

Dockery found that Wade Felde, 23 of Belton was attempting to turn left onto East Everly Brothers Boulevard from South Second Street in a 1994 Ford Mustang. A 2015 Harley Davidson operated by 45-year-old Ed Eaves had entered the intersection and the vehicles collided.

Eaves was transported by PHI air ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Felde was not injured.

CCPD also was assisted by Central City Fire Department and Owensboro Health Muhlenberg EMS.
