Neither were wearing helmets. Minnesota State Patrol said Robert Brown of West Fargo was driving on Highway 75 south of Hendrum when his saddle bag became dislodged yesterday. His Harley Davidson then lost control and overturned in the ditch. Brown was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a Fargo hospital and is expected to be ok. Another crash on Highway 113 east of Waubun left a Grand Forks man hurt. Highway officials said Luis Brito lost control on a curve on his motorcycle. He was taken to a Detroit Lakes hospital and is expected to be ok. Brit was not wearing a helmet.

RACE THE RED IN FARGO TODAY
Today, kayakers and canoers will be competing for the 26th annual Race the Red.
There are three different races for 1.5, 3.5, and 6 miles. All of them begin at the south boat ramp at Dike East. Entry fee is $15, and the event gets underway starting at 6:30 this evening. A barbecue food truck will be on hand for refreshments, and in addition to awards for the fastest racers, there will also be a prize for the best decorated boat.
