MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The bike riding community gathered at Triple S Harley-Davidson on Memorial Day to remember those who sacrificed their lives while serving our country.
Dozens of bikers gathered at the event, making a donation to enjoy food, music and camaraderie with fellow bike riding friends.
This year all proceeds will go to benefit Operation Welcome Home, which is a non-profit organization in Morgantown that helps to give veterans jobs when they return home.
Music was performed by three nuts and a Woody, and food was provided by the Stonehouse Restaurant.
"It's honestly a great thing. I mean, here at Triple S, we're really about giving back to the community and we're very very strong when it comes to military. We have a lot of employees that are military, so we're excited to do this," said Ashley Anderson, Triple S Harley-Davidson.
Organizers said that similar events often raise over $2,000 for the non-profit organizations.
