GP Police Jail Felon for Parole and Weapons Violations after Trespassing Complaint
Public safety officers responded to a 10:40 a.m. report of a man trespassing at Rogue Sash and Door. Employees requested that 31-year-old Harley Davidson Hopkins of Grants Pass be banished from that location.
Officers said they contacted Hopkins a short time later near the Walmart parking lot and trespassed him from Rogue Sash and Door. His parole officer requested a detainer be placed on him and a subsequent search found him to be in possession of a six-inch dagger.
Harley Hopkins was charged with Parole Violation stemming from a previous conviction for Attempted 1st-Degree Assault and with Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.
Hopkins was lodged in the Josephine County Jail on a no-bail parole detainer.
