TOWN OF BRADLEY, WI (WSAU) — A 49-year-old Merrill man is dead after a motorcycle crash in the Lincoln County Town of Bradley.

Officers say the man was riding southbound on County Road S when his 2003 Harley Davidson left the roadway near the Highway 107 intersection and struck a tree.

Although the crash was initially reported at around 10:30 AM, investigators believe it happened sometime overnight but went unnoticed and unreported for several hours. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased man was not identified and it remains unclear if he was wearing a helmet, or if any other factors were involved. More information is expected to be released later this week.
