   These engine guard chaps are installed on a 2003 Anniversary Electra-glide Classic Police Edition model.

   You may or may not need additional hardware to install this item (I needed longer lower frame bolts & nuts where the bottom of the guard clips at the bottom of the engine guard). These inexpensive wind guards actually do a great job blocking the wind and funneling heat from the engine towards your legs (keeps me warm on chilly morning rides). Because of the design of the engine guard, the “chaps” have a slight inward angle and I believe channels wind flow towards the engine better than just passing through it. The right side chap has a pocket with a magnetic snap that holds pretty securely if not over loaded. The left chap has a “net” bottle holder integrated that I have not used yet to date.

   I have received many compliments about the engine guard chaps due to the fact that they are easily removable and can be tucked away in my bags when not wanted or needed vs the hard lower fairings.

   If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to block the wind with a little style, then look no further these will do the trick and as I stated earlier they are “easily” removable and can be tucked away while on the fly.

   awesome. cheap alternative to hard lower fairings. easy to install and helps with updraft of rain and sand. i do a lot of cold weather riding and been VERY VERY cheap until now. don’t know why i didn’t get these before, and now i kick myself. extremely fast to put on and take off. initial install of the chrome bracket is a one time thing and from that point it is slide on snap and fasted two buckles and strap. too esay to take off and stuff into your saddle bag or backpack.

   Great product, fits like a glove. The original shipping info I received said 2-6 weeks, but they came within 5 days of order. The install was very simple. The only part I had slight trouble with was the right side engine guard connector. It was hard to get the bolt back in once the adapter plate was installed. I used a floor jack to lift the guard slightly and was able to get the bolt back into place.

   I would reccomed these to anyone, great product .
