KSP Arrests Nortonville Harley Rider Following Reported Pursuit

Adam Young 8 19NORTONVILLE, Ky. (8/19/17) — A Nortonville motorcyclist pursued by a Kentucky State Police trooper for several miles along Interstate 69 was arrested Friday night.

KSP Post 2 reported Sgt. Jon McGehee attempted to stop the Harley Davidson driver after noticing the registration plate belonged to a different vehicle.

The pursuit began 4 miles south of Nortonville involving a driver identified as 37-year-old Adam Young that ended 2 miles north of Hopkinsville.

Young faces a list of charges including evading police, DUI, possession of meth, driving on a suspended license, speeding and destruction of a VIN number.

Several troopers, Christian County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Hopkinsville Police Department assisted.

Young was listed as being held in Hopkins County Jail this afternoon on $ 5,000 cash bond.
