How Cheyenne is helping children in need

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) – One hundred and seventy motorcyclists rode around Cheyenne today to help children. They all registered at High Country Harley-Davidson of Cheyenne. Each brought at least one toy for a boy or girl in need this Christmas.

The riders strapped their toys to their motorcycles, and then the Salvation Army picked up all the toys.

Jake Weinheimer, Marketing Manager for High Country Harley-Davidson of Cheyenne, says, “I’d like to thank everyone who came out…the riders, the police department, and the city of Cheyenne. Everyone came together as a community to make this event a success. Because of this event, we raised over 500 toys, which means there are going to be some very happy children come Christmas time.”

If you weren’t able to attend today’s event, but would like to help the children, you can drop off toys at High Country Harley-Davidson of Cheyenne.
