House of Harley Davidson preparing care packages to send to soldiers overseas

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) The Harley Davidson dealership in Spenard is preparing care packages to send to soldiers currently deployed overseas.

Many Anchorage businesses offered discounts and special services to Veterans as a way to commemorate Veteran’s Day.

The Harley Davidson store said it is also providing a discount to military members looking for bike storage during the winter months, “if you’re military, it’s free for deployed and half price for active duty right now in the store,” Sarah Co, the marketing director said.

Staff said the store is accepting donations of items such as candy and toiletries to send in the care packages through the next week.
