Taken during the Motorcycle Cannonball race of the century stop at the Powder Keg Harley Davidson dealership in the Kings Mills suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Motorcycle Cannonball is a cross country race from Atlantic City, New Jersey to San Diego, California. Only motorcycles made before 1917 are allowed to participate. The entries were limited to 100.

Getting a clean shot of an entire motorcycle was next to impossible, but it is interesting to see the old motors and the technology of the era. I love the way the tank is modified to accommodate motor parts and the sheep skin covered seat to add a level of comfort to this rider’s back side on the long journey.
