JOPLIN – Despite the cool weather, this morning provided perfect conditions for a joplin business to help celebrate freedom.
Hideout Harley-Davidson hosted Fall Freedomfest Saturday. Organizers say the idea is to celebrate the different walks of life Harley riders come from. For example, there were make up specialists, live music and food. Participants tell us the idea is to remind everyone that freedom is what our nation was founded on.
“Certainly motorcycles are an expression of that freedom,” says Hideout Harley-Davidson general manager Steve Lippert. “There’s nothing like it, there really isn’t, you know, the wind in the face, you get all the sense involved when you ride a bike, so, and there is a bike for everyone truly.”
Hideout Harley-Davidson’s next big even is the Black-N-Blue Ball on Saturday, November 11. That event will help raise money to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
