Thousands of bikers spend the week enjoying the best of what Erie has to offer. Bikefest is upon us!
The week-long celebration is one of the area’s busiest tourist events. The festival kicked off on Saturday with the annual Bullseye Run. Throughout the week there will be live music and activities for guests. The manager at Erie’s Harley Davidson says the festival contributes a great deal to the area.
Laurie Thompson, Harley Davidson General Manager says, “you know, Erie is very biker friendly and that is not the case in all cities, so again, we’re so lucky and our bikers are so very generous.”
Bikefest will wrap up on Saturday with a finale concert. Tonight, there will be a Hogs and Rods Cruise at Liberty Park, followed by the Roadhouse Party at Sloppy Duck Saloon. Tuesday’s schedule is full, too. The Vendor Village will be open from 12p-7p. There will be a Law Enforcement Memorial Run at 5pm. Another Roadhouse Party from 5p-8p. The United by Independents Ride at 7p. Followed by live music and 8 Great Tuesdays.
