Ray (Buck) Newman owned and raced this bike.
Buck worked for Harley-Davidson in 1918 before going on the racing circuit through the Midwest. While travelling to Australia in the 1920s, Ray met and married an Oklahoma girl and spent the rest of his life here. He operated Buck’s Cycle Shop in Oklahoma City from the 1930s until the 1960s.
