American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has unveiled the latest Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special models. Adding these two into the Sportster lineup, these are the latest in a line of 100 motorcycles which the company plans to introduce by 2027.

The Iron 1200 gets the similar design we saw in the Iron 883, but this time the new Iron gets a bigger 1,202cc engine which increased torque by 36 per cent, as claimed by Harley-Davidson. The Iron 1200 gets a blacked-out engine with chrome pushrod tubes. It gets raised handlebars, a new cowl around the single headlamp, single seat, 12.5-litre fuel tank, ABS, and Harley-Davidson’s Smart Security System.

The Iron 1200 is available in Vivid Black, Twisted Cherry, and Billiard White and is priced at USD 9,999 (Rs 6.5 lakh).

The Forty-Eight Special gets the same engine as the Iron 1200, albeit with a beefier front. It also gets large aluminium triple clamps. The Forty-Eight Special also gets a tall handlebar as well.

Fuel tank capacity is 8.3-litres. The Forty-Eight Special is priced at USD 11,299 (about Rs 7.35 lakh) and is available in Vivid Black, Wicked Red and Billiard White.
