OCONOMOWOC, Wis. – Wisconsin Harley-Davidson will be holding its fourth Oktoberfest and Wiener Dog Derby Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
“This is just a feel-good event that is fun for the whole family. We’re also proud to help raise awareness of local dog rescue organizations during the event. Harley lovers tend to also be dog lovers, so this event is a natural,” said Robert Moakley, owner of Wisconsin Harley-Davidson.
The derby will feature dachshund races in five age categories and a costume contest in three categories.
Oktoberfest festivities will include a German beer garden, Hammerschlagen tournament, free grilled brats and live polka by the Keith Gennerman Polka Band.
Directions: Take I-94 W to Highway 67 South (exit 282), go left (south) with the venue less than ¼ mile on the right.
