Good call on those Rok Straps! They Rock! Pun intended!!! Lol. They really keep everything in place. My Girlfriend And I rode 966 miles and never had to worry about losing anything.

Good video, my wife and I camp several times a year in the Shenandoah Mountains VA, on my SGS.  We only go for the weekend, strap on an extra bag though for clothing.  Saddle bags are used for ice, beer, whiskey and food.  We used downed timber near campsite for a fire.

I still have my deluxe. Packed away for the winter now but can't wait to load it back up for camping in the spring.

I watched the video this same guy did for setting up a Softail Deluxe for camping and now he has this for his new Street Glide. My thought is, apparently this guy goes camping without packing any food or clothes for the trip. Assuming that he does, I would like to see a video on how he REALLY packs for a trip, which would include those items AND laundry soap. When I go to Sturgis, I spend a week sleeping on the ground and I pack clothes for three days, with plans to wash my clothes at the end of the third and fifth days. I also can't afford to buy all of my meals there, so I bring food with me. Of course, you don't have to return home with any food because you've eaten it, but you have to have some way to get it to where you are going.

I have a 2015 street glide and got a tour pak for it. My tent and sleeping bag go in there for weather protection. What do you do about food. I take a very small backpacking stove, and freeze dried food for a dinner and maybe some oatmeal for breakfast depending on how many days I'm out. I also stop by at local mom and pop places and get food there.
