About Street 750
As the most affordable motorcycle in the Harley-Davidson’s line-up, the Street 750 is the stepping stone to the Harley Owners Group. The company launched a mildly refreshed version of the Street 750 in 2016 featuring ABS and a few creature comforts.
The Street 750 is part of the Dark Custom motorcycle range and has been specifically made for first time Harley-Davidson owners. It gets traditional cruiser design cues like a sweptback handlebar, mid-mounted instrumentation and a round headlamp with bikini fairing. Except for the rear shocks and the front forks, which are garnished in chrome, the entire motorcycle gets a matte black theme.
The Street 750 is powered by a liquid-cooled V-twin engine which the company calls as the ‘Revolution X’. The engine delivers 47bhp and 59Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed transmission with a belt drive. Braking had always been the Street 750’s Achilles heel, though this has been taken care of with a new rear brake setup and ABS. It also gets the company’s proprietary smart security system and a proximity key-fob.
The Street 750 is available in three dual-tone paint schemes – black, velocity red and fire red. It competes with other middleweight bikes like the Kawasaki ER-6n, Benelli TNT 600i and the Hyosung Aquila Pro 650.
