Bike Fest is getting underway this weekend at the Harley-Davidson dealership on West 12 St. in Millcreek.
Owner Kelly Lapping started the festival six years ago as a lead up to the Roar on the Shore.
It features swap meets, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities for motorcycle riders to gather and celebrate.
Part of that includes a series of rides across the community.
One of those Saturday supports NAMI of Erie. There was a big turnout for the run.
"We know right now, depression is the number one mental health disorder,” said Denise Kolivoski. “We want to encourage people to reach out and get the help they deserve, whether that’s our educational programming, which we provide free at no cost to the community or other organizations throughout Erie County."
Harley-Davidson of Erie’s Bike Fest resumes Sunday with a swap meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Summer Ride Club welcome party with live music by Steelhorse on the Miller Lite Stage runs from 2 to 5 p.m.
