Harley-Davidson Museum cancels ‘Easy Rider’ screening with Peter Fonda

Harley-Davidson Museum to host 'Easy Rider' screening with Peter Fonda

An April 5 sold-out screening of “Easy Rider” at the Harley-Davidson Museum, with the 1969 motorcycle movie’s star Peter Fonda on hand, has been canceled.

In a statement late Friday, the museum said that it’s working with Fonda “to determine whether this event will be rescheduled for a later date.” Fonda, who played Harley-riding Wyatt in the groundbreaking movie, was to take part in a moderated discussion of the movie at the event.

A museum spokesman said the screening and Fonda appearance had been canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

Ticket holders were being notified, but they also can contact the museum at (414) 287-2789 or at tickets@h-dmuseum.com.
