Harley-Davidson is expecting to fill 125-150 positions on its assembly team within the next two months in Springettsbury Township, according to a news release from the York County Economic Alliance.
The alliance will be assisting the motorcycle manufacturer’s efforts by hosting a hiring information session 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Crispus Attucks Gym, 605 S. Duke St. in York City.
Resumes are required at the session, according to the release.
The release also notes that Harley-Davidson recently “banned the box” from its application process, meaning applicants will not be asked whether they have previously been convicted of a crime.

The company announced in January that it would be consolidating manufacturing operations from its Kansas City plant into its plant in Springettsbury Township.
A company spokeswoman said they expected to add 450 full-time, casual and contracted employees in York County during the next 18 months.
