Having updated its model range for 2018, Harley Davidson India kick started the new year by revising the prices across its lineup. The new prices are effective from 1st April 2018.
The reason there is a change in prices, is because Government of India increased the import duty on CKD units. They also reduced import duty on CBU. What has this resulted into, is that the motorcycles which are completely imported, have has a major reduction in prices, while those which are made in India, have had an increase in prices. In a way, this does not go along with the government’s Make in India initiative, as some manufacturers have already pointed out.
Coming to the prices of Harley Davidson CKD units, the strong portfolio comprises motorcycles for everybody’s taste. Price start from Rs 5.25 lakh for the Street 750 and goes all the way up to Rs 19.01 lakh for the Heritage Classic. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Below are the old vs new prices.
