Photographed on The Barbican, Plymouth, using an Olympus OM 10 with Ilford PANF ISO 50 Black & White low grain film.
I was setting up the shot on a tripod when the gentleman that owns it just got on the bike to depart, when he noticed me with an old camera and he asked if I was about to photograph his bike….
I replied to him "A fine bike like that deserves a fine photograph with a real camera using high quality black and white film", to which the kind gentleman was happy to dismount his bike and wait until I had finished the photo.
To the kind owner of the bike, thank you for your time, this is one of my favourite photos from the roll of film!
