NORTHWEST ARKANSAS – Friday night in Springdale, the Music in Murphy continues. It’s a free summer concert series at the park that’s open to the public. On Friday, Smokey and the Mirror will perform from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A dive in movie is set to happen at Wilson Park pool in Fayetteville Friday evening. There will be an inflatable movie screen above the pool house, showing Kubo and the Two Strings starting at sunset. It’s free for everyone and gates open at 7:15 p.m.
Pig Trail Palooza is set to happen Friday and Saturday. It’s a free motorcycle thrill show happening at Pig Trail Harley Davidson in Rogers. The event promises live music, a vintage pin up contest and a bike and car show. Join in the fun starting Friday afternoon.
Airport Days is back at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum. It will happen the third Saturday of each month. The first one is this weekend. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. There will be a free pancake breakfast or a burger and hot dog lunch.
The Rodeo of the Ozarks Western Days will be Saturday at Parsons Stadium in Springdale. For $ 10 you can sample what promises to be some of the best barbecue in the area. Buy tickets at the gate for the event running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Then, at 8:00 p.m. the annual street dance will happen on Emma Ave.
Kessler Mountain’s new outdoor classroom kicks off with a free open house on Saturday. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include guided activities in the nature center and a self-led scavenger hunt on the trail. Organizers say it’s going to be fun for the whole family.
