Get a Harley-Davidson for only PhP 33K

Yes, you read it right! You can get a Harley-Davidson for just PhP 33,000. Here’s the catch: it’s made for kids. Meet the Harley-Davidson IRONe12 and IRONe16 electric bikes for kids.

The bikes are built by StayCyc, a company Harley had acquired that specializes in balance bikes for kids.

These tiny e-Bikes are be powered by a 2-Ah electric motor. Power comes from a 20-volt lithium-ion battery that can also be quickly swapped with a freshly-charged one. Charging time varies between 30 and 60 minutes. Though the names say “12” and “16”, these are actually based on the wheel sizes of the IRONe: 12 inches and 16 inches.

The IRONe 12 is recommended for children 3-5 years old, has a seat height of just 13 inches and weighs under 8 kilograms. The IRONe 16, on the other hand, is recommended for children 5-8 years old, has a seat height of 17 inches and weighs just under 9 kilograms.

They may look like striders, but these bikes actually accelerate with the use of a throttle; teaching kids the basics of motorcycle control. And when the batteries run out, they can still function as striders.

Speaking of control, both bikes also come standard with riding modes with the following top speeds: 8 kph for Training, 11 kph (Iron e12) or 12 kph (Iron e16) for Standard, and 14.5 kph (Iron e12) and 18 kph (Iron e16) for Advanced mode.
