CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — When the weather warms up, more motorcycles will hit the roads.
That’s why the Coziahr-Harley Davidson in Forsyth held a seminar to give a heads up on how riders can be more visible.
Part of that is wearing the right gear, but the burden is also on those who are driving cars.
“One of the biggest things we all talk about is paying attention to what’s going on around you and getting away from the distractions such as your phone, and pulling over and taking the time to do that off the road,”says Coziahr Harley Davidson Parts Assoc., Donnie Hampsmire.
A recent study says motorcycle crashes cause five times as many deaths as car accidents.
