CHICAGO, IL – Michigan-based Fox Powersports plans to build a Harley-Davidson dealership right across from historic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.
The 10,000 sq. ft. store will sell vehicles, accessories and apparel, according to The Chicago Tribune. “Plans for what will be the city’s only Harley dealership come as many retail landlords seek out unique experiences and destination shops to differentiate their properties,” reported Ryan Ori.
The dealership will be on the ground floor of the upcoming the Addison & Clark development which will, when finished, house 148 apartments, and offer 150,000 square feet of retail space and 400 indoor parking spaces. It’s expected to open in 2018.
Fox operates Harley-Davidson dealerships in Chicago’s northern suburbs of Libertyville and Glenview, and it has a retail location in North Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago. The parent company, Fox Motors, also operates an auto dealership on the north side of the city.
Fox Powersports in Wyoming, MI, is a destination dealership carrying more than a dozen vehicle brands.
