MUSKEGON, MI – Rebel Road and Bike Time will continue to coexist in downtown Muskegon Saturday, featuring tons of activities and music to meet the needs of all bikers.
Friday’s Rebel Road festivities included the Mi Life Tattoo and Arts Expo 2.0 which took place in the Holiday Inn Conference Center in downtown Muskegon. The event featured tattoo artists from Michigan and beyond, along with contests, merchandise, vendors, food and beer. The event continues Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Entry cost is $ 5.
There was plenty to choose from musically on Friday as well. ReFURBUSHed, American Hair Band, Trixy Tang and Jasmine Cain provided musical entertainment.
Saturday’s musical lineup will feature Group Theraphy, Westside Soul Surfers and Let There Be Rock at the Depot Lot located at 610 W. Western. Music begins at 6 p.m. Bettie Page and Jared Blake will perform at the L.C. Walker Arena lot, beginning at 6 p.m.
Saturday will also feature the first-ever American Bagger Show at 5 p.m. Prizes from the event will include photo shoots for American Bagger and Urban Bagger magazines, along with a $ 500 best-of-show award and several gift certificates.
Other Rebel Road events on Saturday will include the Bearded Baron and Tattoo contest, which will take place at 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. Saturday’s events will also feature the Miss Rebel Road contest, which highlights lady bikers. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Bike Time’s Relentless Stunt Show will take place at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday at the Hot Rod Harley Davidson parking lot. The show will feature wheelies, smoking tires and other acrobatics from the stunt team.
The local team consists of Kevin Davis, of Holton, and Joe Nash, of Muskegon, plus special guest Jessie Beadle.
Rebel Road is primarily located on West Western Avenue, while Bike Time will take place at the Hot Rod Harley Davidson dealership, 149 Shoreline Drive. The two events are within walking distance of each other.
