Scouts to serve pancakes Saturday
KENOSHA — Boy Scout Troop 522 will serve a pancake breakfast 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Moose Lodge, 3003 30th Ave.
Cost is $6.
Cord-cutting is program topic
KENOSHA — A program on quitting cable and satellite television begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.
Participants will learn how to evaluate cable, satellite, internet TV and over-the-air service to determine what works best.
A library card will be required to check out streaming devices.
Seminar slated for new homebuyers
KENOSHA — A seminar for first-time homebuyers takes place noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.
Participants will learn about credit, income and assets needed as well as mortgage and real estate terms.
There will be time for questions.
Southwest Library to host tech club
KENOSHA — Tech club “Mozilla Megabytes” will meet 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.
Participants can learn to read and write code, participate on the internet and be mentored by others from the Mozilla community around the world.
All ages are welcome.
Model railroad club sets open house
UNION GROVE — The Tri-County Model Railroad Club will host an open house 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the club, 1010 Vine St.
Popcorn, soda and cookies are available. Admission is free. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
The layout is HO scale.
Bike blessing Sunday at church
KENOSHA — The Lake Shore chapter of the Harley Owners Group will have its annual bike blessing Sunday.
Participants will meet at Lake Shore Harley-Davidson, 14000 Rockland Road, Libertyville, Ill., at 10 a.m. and will depart at noon for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha, 8760 37th Ave., arriving around 12:45 p.m. for the blessing.
All types and brands of motorcycles are invited participate.
