East China Twp. man killed in motorcycle crash

A man was killed in a St. Clair Township motorcycle crash Sunday.  

Shortly after 4 p.m., a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by a 36-year-old Kimball Township woman, failed to yield while making a left turn off the eastbound Interstate-94 exit ramp onto Wadhams Road, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff Department. 

Police said a 58-year-old East China Township man was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Wadhams and struckthe SUV.

The man and his 44-year-old wife were transported to Lake Huron Medical Center. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital, while his wife sustained minor injuries, according to the department. 

Michigan State Police, United States Customs, the St. Clair Fire Department and Tri-Hospital EMS also assisted at the scene of the crash.
